The Global (continued)

Strong Caution: Although you can do it, I do not recommend editing global procedures unless you are extremely sure of what you are doing. You can cause some serious damage in doing so. A prime example is the Global: Wait for Notify. When you see that statement, the wise thing to do is to refrain from interfering. Just back off, and let it do its thing.

And now, we're ready to dig up the global file. Everyone should have a copy of Far Out. If you don't, please go to the Tools section of the Web site and follow the link to download a copy.

Open Far Out, and from the tool bar at the top, click on File and then on Open. The program will automatically take you to the Sims directory.

Once inside there, you need to click (or double click) the GameData folder to open it.

Then click the Global folder to open that one.
