Personality (continued)
Close out of IFF, open Tmog, scroll down to "beds" and clone "Bed
- Double - Expensive". Name it personalitybed.iff and identify
it as your bed. Here's mine:

Close out of Tmog, and before we continue, go to your lessons folder we created
last week and create a subfolder inside it and call it "Personality".
Copy your personalitybed.iff into that subfolder for safekeeping.
As I stated earlier, some two or three tiled objects you need to watch if
you are adding to it, because sometimes each tile reacts separately as in the
case of a couch. In this case however, it should be fine, because we are going
to do something very simple. We are going to make it so that when a Sim sleeps
in this bed, he'll gain one nice personality point. Let's get to work.
Launch IFF and open your personalitybed.iff file. Since we want the bed to
add a nice point while the Sim sleeps, we need to consider several things before
we can determine where to add our new statement.
In the case of a bed, logic tells us that Sims sleep in the
bed, and that the bed adds comfort and energy
as the Sim sleeps.
Therefore, the logical thing to do is to look in the behaviors section for
anything that refers to sleep, comfort and/or energy. We should consider these
things with any object we endeavor to hack.
Select the BHAV section and take a good look at the behaviors mentioned there.
There are a few of them mentioning sleep, but the one that sticks out the most
is the simplest one, #4106: "Sleep".
