EXTRA : The GUID

In the next window, look in the left-hand side panel for "GUID", then look to the right. The number found there is the "carsuv" GUID number. You won't see your hex format cookie number anywhere in there, because... this is Maxis' object and not one that you cloned. You should not have another object in your game with the same GUID.

Exercise: I'm going to clone the "carsuv" and I'd like for you to do the same. It doesn't matter what you name it since this is only an exercise. After you clone it, make sure the object is still selected, and then click the "Edit Object" button, and then click the "Edit Object Definition" button. Scroll down to GUID, and take a look at the window to the right. Is your hex format Magic Cookie number in there? Mine is — see?
