Look at the Data box. Parameter is saying "768". This of course, is for showing the balloon or headline that pertains to skills learning. We want one for interests.

Replace 768 with "2327", the one for interests, and then click OK to close out of this behavior.

This is the reason we imported #286. We can't very well change the global file. Or better put, we shouldn't change the global. So, we made our own right there inside our bookcase. Everyone with me so far?

Next we go to the STR# section for the messages that pop up when a Sim has earned his interest point.

Double click "Dialog prim string set" to open it and have a look.

Inside you see all the messages available. ID #1 is what shows at the top of the message (Congratulations!). We can change it, but we won't right now.

ID #0 is the message for Cooking (now Travel). See the $Me in there? Where you see that is where the game will insert your Sim's name.
