LESSON 4 - Part 2:  Randomizing Events

Preparing To Work  (continued)

If you will look at the animations in the STR# section and at the sounds in the FWAV section, you'll see they are all normal for a painting. Unfortunately, none of the ones referenced there are good for for what I have in mind. This is, after all, a strange painting.

Save your file, and close IFF. We'll now use Animtion Alchemist. You were asked to download the program at the very beginning of our classes, but we haven't yet had a chance to use it. We're going to use it now.

Open Animation Alchemist and then open your strangepainting.iff file. To the left you have a2o and c2o. Click on the adult reactions first, and you see all the reactions currently associated with the object for adults.

The child reactions are the same. To the right you have a slue of animations available to pick from, and they should be in alphabetical order.

Scroll until you see "a2o-reapee-plead-loop3" and select it. Then under the STR# resource section, select #0. You have to actually click #0 (and not the text) to select it. Then, click the "Set" button to the right and at the bottom.
